I get the feeling that most people who drink energy beverages like their music loud. It doesn't matter what the type of music is: rap, punk, ska, rock, or even pop you just crank the volume up and get hit with those decibels. In turn you feel the beats of the music wash over you and it really pumps you up almost filling you up with the vibrational energy of the music. Loud Energy Drink taps into that sonic vibe with their new energy drink. The Classic Mix features a red starburst on a silver background. Inside the red starburst are some headphones and you can almost feel the energy vibrating out of those. They've done a nice job of conveying the power you get from listening to music at high volume. Your eardrums may not survive, but you'll get more energy out of it! The 12 oz. can is shaped nicely, it's not the normal 12 oz can you get from an ordinary soda, but thinner and it fits nicely in your hand.
So honestly I like the can, but I'm thinking this has Red Bull clone written all over it. So I pop it open and am surprised by the dark cola caramel color of Loud Classic's liquid and the cherry slurpee smell that comes out. The smell is delectable and I start chugging the drink immediately. I'm hit with a great sour cherry flavor. It's almost like a cherry coke, but de-emphasizing the cola flavors and adding more sourness. This comes across nicely especially considering that Loud Classic Mix is less sweet than your typical cherry coke so the blend of flavors is succulent. Loud Classic Mix goes down so smoothly that it's scary. Before I knew it the tart cherry flavor was gone and the can was empty, so I'd recommend getting two of these even for casual drinking.
In each 12 oz. can of Loud Classic there's 150 calories and 38 grams of sugar. The ingredients you find on the label show high fructose corn syrup, sucrose, taurine, guarana, caffeine, carnitine, inositol, ginseng, gingko biloba, and B Vitamin complex. That's a nice portfolio of energy ingredients and for a 12 oz. can, Loud Energy Drink packs a mean kick. I found that this is one of the drinks I have had recently that really boosted both my mental alertness and my physical energy. It's kind of like when you're driving late at night and you turn on the radio really loud and suddenly you're much more awake, alert, and you feel like maybe you shouldn't go home and go to sleep. Loud Energy Drink really makes you feel alive and I'll definitely be drinking more of it.
